Front Desk Engagement
Front of house staff need to improve their engagement with visitors, didn’t feel welcome at any time during my stay, they all seemed to look down at the desk when people were in the area. Just a little hello/goodbye goes along way. Room was okay, AC needed to be quieter and cooler, water pressure in the shower was dire. Overall middle of the road from me

Sewage smell in our room
We were given a room that smelled like sewage. We had to be moved after our first night as the smell was so bad. Other rooms had the smell as well as we had friends on another floor and their room had the smell intermittently. The hotel staff tried to make the smell go away by pouring water down the drain. That seemed to stop the smell for a period of time , but then it came back within an hour. After we were moved to another room everything was fine. I just did not want to spend the first and second day of my holiday staying in a very smelly room with staff coming and going with juice jugs to fix the smell. The hotel is well aware that thus is a problem. Room 1191 is where you do not want to be. The location and breakfast was really good.

A Copenhagen gem
We really loved our stay at the Phoenix. Even though we were in a small room, we still had 2 chairs and a desk. The only thing lacking was a luggage rack, but since we were only staying one night, I didn't ask.
