Morrison Clark Hotel, Washington

Hotel was beautiful however the girl at the front desk had no information about the local area attractions , she simply responded I don’t live in D.C so I don’t know ! The courtyard was very pretty , however the area is very noisy and the room wasn’t very quiet we heard car horns and police sirens almost every hour

Let me start with a (very) minor quibble. My suite in the older part of the hotel was a bit dark. Otherwise, my experience was entirely positive. The enormous bathroom was entirely modern. The sitting area and bedroom were spacious and comfortable. And the period style of the common areas was beautifully executed. As for its location, the hotel was a comfortable jaunt from everything I wanted to see - including some unexpectedly great shopping and a variety of excellent restaurants. (Try "The Bird" - outstanding!) Still, my Washington vacation was the success it was because the Morrison-Clark staff did everything they could to ensure that. They were far more upset by one tiny glitch than I was. In fact, I had no idea there had been a glitch until they pointed it out. While strolling around town with friends, I visited a number of other high-end hotels, some far more spectacular in appearance, but when I return to D.C. - and I will - it will be to the Morrison Clark!

Lovely hotel in a very convenient location of DC. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was a little small but nicely decorated and was comfortable. Be aware that staff come to clean as early as 9am, even on the morning I was checking out, which was a little odd. Overall a great stay!

The staff was friendly and accommodating. Every interaction was a pleasure.
