Don’t trust the photos.

I arrived because I saw the pictures looked tidy, and I thought the picture reflected the price, pool, hot tub and slide and free breakfast. After I booked I had an email right away saying the slide was out of action, even though they advertise a slide. I arrived at the hotel, and it was dated, it looked dark with dimmed light. I entered my room and it was absolutely nothing like the room I booked, totally different bathroom, pictures had carpet, mine was a hard wood floor. I went back to reception to bring up this point, I was told since all the rooms are sold out I wouldn’t be able to move room, and best they could do would be a 10% discount. They did agree to do a full refund, I went back to my room to talk to my partner about it, I told her how much the room was for this weekend and instantly we both agreed that for the price we weren’t getting a good enough room or standard of acceptability. And the. We heard someone in the hallway coughing and it was so loud we had no sound proofing in the room. We decided to book a different hotel and get a full refund. The receptionist told me that the hotels.com photos weren’t the updated photos on the website and when I checked the website it was the exact same photos, so not only lied to me, didn’t even care too much that we decided to leave. It’s annoying because by the time we realised how bad it was. Most other hotels had also sold out, so we didn’t have much choices

This hotel is very very ghetto. The staff does not know how to speak English. I had to clean my own room. I would ask front desk for something and I would get something totally different. There was a person trying to mace the whole hotel and the breakfast was trash. They didn’t even have cream cheese for the bagels.

Ok but one night was enough

The staff were very friendly, but the hotel is older and has a lot of patch work throughout. The pool and hot tub were both under filled - the deep end was only 4ft (instead of 4.5ft) and shallow end 2ft (instead of 2.5ft). Small pool overall, but good for young kids. The slide is out of service indefinitely, which was disappointing as it was the reason we booked here versus other hotels at similar price points. Our basic room was very small and if you ran either heat or AC it was very noisy. The most disappointing thing was the free breakfast - small room that only can accommodate 20 seated people and had a line up of 15 waiting for the "instant" waffle maker which took several minutes per waffle. It was pure insanity in there. Overall - it was OK (we'v stayed worse) and the staff were wonderful. The facility could use a lot of attention in common areas.

Absolutely terrible hotel.

Absolutely terrible as stated and nothing close to the pictures that are advertised. Our room was not the type of room we had reserved. None of the pictures of the inside or outside of the hotel were accurate. There were burn marks on everything (curtains, carpet, chair). The room had a funny smell. We did not trust even touching the king bed. And for a non smoking room it had clearly been smoked in by every person who has stayed there there were stains on the walls. Sitting furniture was stained with god knows what. The room had a funny smell. There was damage in the bathroom. The couch bed that we specifically requested was not only extremely dirty but there was crumbs of something in it when we folded it out. The door did not latch at all we walked in without a keycard. And they are charging more than the nice hotels in the city. The staff was not friendly at all and got sketchy when asked about a refund after all the issues were brought to their attention. And they made sure I paid before I was ever given my room key and a security deposit equal to the cost of the room (this was a first for me typically I have always paid when leaving) This hotel should be condemned based on the very small amount of time spent there. I felt unsafe and very gross after leaving. There was even bleach stains all over the hallway carpets. Photos are just a few snaps we took of some of the things we found.

A/C in room just blew out warm air. Informed front desk and nothing was done. Bathroom sink was rusted out and paint was peeling, and door stops broken. Hotel door hinges were loose and door rattled all night. Hotel provided only 2 bath towels for 3 people. Received additional one and the next day room service removed the additional towel again.

Just Okay

Okay for the price. Stayed for 3 days, housekeeping never showed up one day. Pizza box garbage on the floor wasn’t picked up. Couldn’t get extra coffee pods from the hotel counter, was told I had to find housekeeping to ask them. There were cigarette burns on the bathroom sink counter. One elevator wasn’t working and had to go down 4 floors to the opposite side of the building to get ice.
