Intercontinental Old Montreal
Good location for exploring old Montreal. Great bar staff. A little surprised the adjacent shops and food court were not open when we expected.

Exceptional10.0
Good hotel on the edge of Old Montreal.
The room was spacious and comfortable, with quiet but effective HVAC. The breakfast buffet is very good with lots of healthy options, and even custom omelettes if you wish. It has a good, well-maintained fitness facility. The hotel has direct underground access to the convention centre, many lunch spots, and two metro stations. It is right on the edge of Old Montreal, with lots of good restaurants and shops, and is a fifteen-minute walk to the train station. Our room had a limited view. The entertainment system did not work, which seems to be a recurring problem there. We only discovered this on the last night, so it was obviously not a big issue for us. One has to log into the wifi each day, but the connection is solid, and even works in the cafes next door.

Needs washroom renovation
The hotel was probably excellent many years ago. Today washrooms are outdated with wallpapers coming off the wall and bathtubs, faucets and showerheads not working properly. Needs a good renovation. Service is good, nice personnel.
