Staff helpfulness was most important reason for giving high marks. Pram (not sure of spelling) who was night clerk went out of his way to try to get me meal and taxi. I think grab bars in bath area would have been helpful but overall good esperience

Ok for weekend
We were there for a weekend for a billiard tournament. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The carpet in our room was stained and the housekeeping people forgot to leave fresh coffe cups, coffee and extra towels as requested. The gym could be bigger with more free weights. OK for a weekend stay.

Not Worth Your Time or Money
Bad experience. We checked in at 7 pm. Check-in was quick. When we got to the room door, I used our key and the door was stuck. I had to basically throw my body against the door to get it to open. The floor was not even so the door required physical force to open for the first 45 degrees. So basically we tried to stay in our room as much as possible to avoid having to open and close it. It was a pain. After literally pushing our way in, we saw it was 2 queens - we chose 1 King. My husband and I are a little larger, so both of us on a queen bed is not comfortable. I pulled up my receipt to check that we chose 1 King - we did. So I called the front desk. She claimed our reservation came to them as 2 Queens and that she could not help us - there were no more Kings left. That is unacceptable. So we had to decide if we would squeeze on a queen or sleep separately that night. Turning on the lights was a challenge as the switch was a push button switch and didn't work right away. Shortly after, we were surprised to find out that the entry lights are on a timer? Or a motion sensor? So they turned off on us and the room got a lot darker. The toilet seat was wobbly. The room we were given was EASILY one of the worst rooms we've ever had for the price range. Completely unacceptable in so many ways. I would NOT recommend anyone stay here. Spend a few extra dollars and stay at one of the hotels across the street.
