Poor communication and customer service
I chose this hotel because it was within walking distance of the Moda and I was taking my husband for his birthday to see Bruce Springsteen. I booked my room back on 09.07.2021. Check in on 02.25.2022 was listed at 3pm. When we arrived at 2:45pm, there was a valet sign at the main entrance, and only after sitting in our vehicle for nearly 10 minutes were we told that it was "self-valet" parking in a garage down the street and around the corner. We had to park and walk with our suitcases back to the hotel. Our room was not ready at check in time and we were asked to wait for a text message. We went and had a coffee, then had a drink and I only was able to check in at 5:45pm after I went up and asked for a status AND if I took a wheel chair accessible room with a tiny shower. There was no credit back for the difference in the regular room vs. the one I had to take and I have no idea how much longer we would have waited for the original room I booked. The concert started at 7:30pm so we took the room when it was finally offered during my 2nd trip to the check in desk. I understand there was a snow storm on Wednesday, but this was Saturday, and it just seemed that their expectation that we should sit and wait for nearly 3 hours for our room was somehow acceptable. This trip was a birthday present for my husband, and that I was unable to take him to dinner before the concert like I had planed and we had to settle for fast food at the venue was disappointing.

Parking Fiasco
Checked in and paid for in-and-out parking. Took the car to dinner and returned to find that the lot was full due to a hotel event. Had I been warned of this possibility, I would have left the car in the lot. However, because I had not been told, when I returned from dinner - and before my concert - I had to drive around to find a lot, then walk 15 minutes back to the hotel at night in the cold. This completely defeated the purpose of even renting the car and paying for hotel in-n-out parking.
