Beautiful resort!
The hotel is beautiful! The restaurants were great! The pools are kept really clean and pristine! The pool bar staff was awesome! So was the staff at the smoothie bar! Great drinks at both! Only issue is you need an adapter to use the plugs in the room and the adapter is only good for cellphones. You cannot use it for a blow dryer or barber equipment etc. Also the staff in some of the restaurants are a bit dismissive & not attentive & that can become frustrating when you need the simplest thing. Other than that great stay! Will return!

Great hotel
The hotel had construction going on that was a bit noisy and lots of dust. Eating at the open air restaurants was always a challenge with the dust and the birds. Otherwise the food and drinks were great as well as the water park. Kids play park needs lights as kids always end up there in the evening. More bathrooms needed on such a large compound and places to wash your hands especially where food and drinks are served.

The water is beautiful.
The stay at the resort started off aggravating! We arrived less than an hour before check in so we didn’t assume the room would be ready so we were expecting to check out the grounds and grab a drink. By 4 the room still wasn’t ready. By 5pm the room still wasn’t ready but they gave us keys and the keys didn’t work. I spent quite some time at service desk. Also wasn’t made aware that the best food on the resort required in app reservations by 4pm so we ate the regular food. Day 2 was great until we ordered room service and they never delivered. Day 3 we needed housekeeping and that didn’t happen until Day 4 but dinner on Day 4 was amazing!!! We ate at the BBQ place we were able to get a reservations at. Day 3 we went off the resort which I wholeheartedly recommend if you are ok with that. The food, the city, everything was great. The resort did have good entertainment towards the evening and beautiful views. The bartenders were nice the check in service people were very happy and knowledgeable and I wont blame them for what went wrong. Just wish my anniversary turned out a lot better.

The pillows were very hard. They were not full sized pillows but were in fact the size of throw pillows. I ended up not using any pillows to sleep because the pillows were aggravating my shoulder injury.

This property was very disappointing! There was very limited beach space on the resort, and almost daily cruise ships docked right in sight. The staff was not friendly or welcoming like I’ve experienced from Hilton staff on other islands. The restaurant choices were decent, but difficult to get reservations due to the limited space, so the buffet ends up being your last resort. The island itself was beautiful and the tours, especially snorkeling with the turtles and seeing other beaches was great! Definitely explore downtown, but would recommend a different resort!

The positives: Great location. Tasty and varied food. Great options for dinner and lunch. Has a water park right on premises. Internet works great everywhere. The Negatives: Customer service is terrible. Everything is self served, so good luck if you want a drink by the pool or beach. No alcoholic drinks for breakfast, must walk to the bar outside the restaurant to get them. We also had to get our utensils every time we ate at the buffet and clean our own table before sitting. The fridge in our room sounded like a tractor trailer and we had to unplug it. We asked for an iron and it was never cleaned as it was covered in melted plastic. Yes, Melted plastic ! And it didn’t even work.
