The Andrews Hotel, San Francisco

The building is historic. It had a lot of good character. Me personally am not a big fan of it. As a hotel it function well. Comfort in room wasn't too good. It was quite small and tight. Surrounding area is just middle of downtown.

The hotel was cute & small. The TV was way to small. The bathroom it looked like it had mildew on the shower wall. The front desk staff was nice. Hotel in good location. Continental breakfast outside door in the morning was just ok. I think they should add a waffle maker. They have a resturant Fino attached to hotel I didnt eat there but it was packed every night.

Good hotel. It faces some challenges as the building is older, but staff dealt with this. Overall we were happy and would recommend.

The room was clean (though) I am not sure how carefully. The bed was comfortable and the staff was courteous. The wifi was strong and reliable. The windows were old and didn't fully close airtight (allowing extra noise in the room), every channel on the TV had snow on it and it was basically useless. I slept next to their managerial office and every time someone came and left the heavy door would not only be loud but shake the wall. The bathroom was too small. I couldn't brush my teeth without bending far over and hitting my head on the vanity, the toilet was for kids height and I can barely fit in there.

Very comfortable with a friendly staff. The hotel is a bit dated but that adds to its charm. The restaurant/bar attached has excellent food and great staff.
