Hotel and staff provided an excellent and very memorable stay.. had some problems with extra charges and the valet scuffed up the car pretty badly.. but the hotel experience was fantastic

Great place
My girlfriend and I visited from Vancouver, Canada recently. What a cool place to stay! Well worth it. It's not super fancy but its elegant and such a novel way to spend a holiday. Perfect for couples. Don't think kids would love it. Great bar and dining areas and being close to all the things in Old Sacramento was really handy as well as a short walk to downtown.

Unique venue, great service
Service, food and view were great! My only complaint is the bed. Very lumpy and uncomfortable.

Girls Trip
The hotel is a quaint old boat. For the age of the boat it was in pristine condition with a little of the old mixed with the new. Upon check-in we filled out our breakfast slip which was delivered to our room promptly at 730 am, which was perfect as we were leaving at 830 am. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The only possible defect was that the boat leans to one side which gave our room a slight lean but didn’t affect our stay. The bed and the room was comfortable and had a home-y feel.

Wonderful atnosphere
Love this hotel, third stay. Remember, it is historic and 100 years old, it is a real old riverboat, rooms are small but nicely appointed and immaculate. Try to get on the top deck facing the river, it cannot be beat. You step out and are in Old Town, walking distance to the Capitol and Crocker Museum and CA Train Museum. Highly recommend, just be patient with the age of the riverboat. Free breakfast, too!

First time saying on a boat/ship. Very small rooms, which is expected. Definity a one time stay for us as we are taller/bigger people. Food was great and so was service.

Historic Site with Amazing Food & Service
Service, history, location, and dining remarkable. Beds were too firm for our liking, but we had a wonderful, safe, and relaxing time.

I stayed here for my birthday and was so excited about staying on a boat! For the price we paid I was expecting to have at least a queen sized bed. The bed was a full sized and pretty uncomfortable. The room was extremely small and there was barely any privacy sound wise, I could hear everything going on in the hotel and the rooms around me. There was also construction going on which was quite noisy and the construction crew was far from quiet. If you would like something more intimate, spacious, and worth your money look else where.
