Excellent Hotel Staff!
Despite the broken lift and multitude of early/late fire alarms, the staff more than made up for it! Great location right on the RER, Luxembourg bus line, gardens and heart of the action. I stay again! Good value.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hôtel Observatoire Luxembourg. It's only steps away from the RER B station that connects the city to the CDG airport. The hotel is located at the heart of university district.

The room was “worn”, amenities sub par, towels threadbare, bed was not queen but two single beds together, and only on day 3 were we told that the reason our room was not being serviced was due to COVID, etc Certainly not 4 star.

Comfy hotel in a fantastic central location across from the Jardin de Luxembourg (great for jogging) and next to the RER train to the airport. Very friendly staff. Nice cafe attached.

A charming French hotel
One of the best travel experiences we have ever had was our seven night stay at the Hotel Observatoire Luxembourg, located in the heart of Paris. The hotel is clean and comfortable, and conveniently has a first-rate restaurant that serves delicious breakfasts and excellent dinners. The restaurant staff is both efficient and gracious, as is the hotel staff in general. In our experience, two people in that staff were exceptional in the help they gave us: at the last moment, with no notice, Virginie saved the day by finding a room for our granddaughter on our floor. And Francois went out of his way to get us taxis around Paris and transportation to the airport.
