Happy Campers!
I had to go to Halifax for a Doctor appointment so we decided to stay at this location, which was very easy to find. Although it looked like they were doing some sort of renovation, it was quite clean and even though we didnt take the opportunity to go for a swim, we did look into the pool rolm and it was also clean and in good shape. The front clerk was friendly too. I tend to have Dr appts in Halifax a couple times per year and like to stay the night before as we live in New Brunswick. It is directly across the water with a great view which would be so nice in the summer! We will be returning! If i could give a word of advise and has nothing to do with the hotel, but if you stay here and have a morning appointment, make sure to leave well in advance. The early morning traffic on that road is terrible!!

Not Handicap Accessible
The hotel is going through renovations and that is great but there is no handicap accessibility. I have serious mobility problems and after getting changed fro second floor I still had to negotiate 15 steps. With three bags and additional items it caused me much grief. The staff were great and did their best but the handicap problems will be a hardship for older people such as myself. The reno going on will not fix that issue from what I can see.

Not handicap accessible.
I have stayed here previously but as a handicap person it is not handicap accessible. There are many stairs required to get to and from rooms. The staff are helpful but when climbing stairs is extremely painful it takes away from the experience I was moved to another room the second three nights I stayed but there was still a number of stairways to manoeuvre. As I said the staff went out of their way to accommodate but the layout dictates the situation.
