Located within the city of Chattanooga, the outside hallway had a flickering ceiling light. Needs to be replaced as well as the carpet in the room. The TV is a small wide screen which is very dim and difficult to see. The leather chair for the desk is badly peeling. There was no breakfast available, except an offer with a nearby eating establishment with a discount. We were very disappointed although the beds were comfortable and the internet connection very good. The bathroom was suitable, water hot although it did not have a ceiling fan venting system. The parking area has camera surveillance. Unfortunately, we would not stay here again.
Receptionist at front desk too busy watching TV, had to knock on window to be seen. Bathroom door did not close completly, carpet by a/c unit smelled like urine.
For an older hotel with a lower rate, it wasn't bad at all! The room was clean and we slept great. This was the cheapest rate we could find in the city center for a name-brand hotel. The buildings are older, but if you realize that going in, you'll do fine. There weren't any problems with our room. It was clean and comfortable. There's also a restaurant attached downstairs called the City Cafe - wonderful place! It's a 50's diner and the portions are large, the food is really good, and they give hotel guests a discount. It's also about a 15 minute walk to the river down a very clean and well kept boulevard through downtown. Really easy access to the interstate, too. We will stay here again when we go back to Chattanooga.
Bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Shower curtain would not stay closed on either end so the floor ended up extremely wet. Location was great to downtown. Will not stay again.
I didn’t expect a 5 star stay but this was very disappointing considering all the positive reviews. The front desk staff was very nice so that was good. The room was meh. The bathroom shower sucked. There was a whole where the shower came out and it looked like there may be a nest in there. The setting on the shower were broken so no changing it to a more comfortable mode. None of that mattered to me. We only made a pit stop to sleep for 5 hours before continuing on our journey. The part that was awful: the noise. My god, the noise. Motorcycle drag racing, people hanging out around the hotel near the 24hr diner. Note to self; if there is a 24hr diner on property, find a better place. I had to sleep with the tv on because the noise was too much.
It was a great trip, the staff was incredible. Highly recommend staying there. Close proximity to all things great of Chattanooga.
Comfortable and clean. Would stay again.
It was extremely noisy all night with cars in the parking area racing their motors at 3:00 AM for at least 45 minutes and people yelling and talking. The phone didn’t work and the TV had a voice narrative that the front desk did not know how to change.
Everything was up to par. We enjoyed our stay. We had no issues with anything.
It was a rocky experience. Definitely works for a cheap or quick stay but the staff was not helpful or professional. I felt that it wasn’t worth the money.
