Great location South Waikiki

Somewhat older hotel that has been nicely remodelled. Service was great and right across from the beach. Good restaurants on site and room was clean and comfortable. We had an Ocean front room and the balcony had a great view. Elevators are great as well.

Do not book on the 5th floor!

The location is great. They offer free beach towels and water containers to return. The cons were there were roaches if you don't keep the drain closed in the bath tub- big roaches and little roaches. The refrigerator leaked water and stayed warm the whole time. Every time the air turned on its smelled like someone's toilet- the smell in the room was horrible. We got a room with a balcony, which was extra price but it was on the 5th floor which is a rooftop where people throw trash out their window to the birds. Additionally, we saw a man walking on the rooftop while we are in the room. No advance warning or anything. The view was not worth charging for a lanai. Guest services was ok, but we were supposed to get our room cleaned twice and they forgot about us the 2nd time and came back the room smelled horrific. Twin fin has great amenities but they Fifth needs to not be a level rented out to anyone.

Excellent Value

I booked a full Ocean front room. And it was well worth it! The balcony out to the beach and the ocean view was amazing. Also, the ability to relax there was so simple. The room itself was more than adequate and the bathroom was very clean too. Throughout the hotel the staff were very courteous and professional in the areas I was in, and never saw any issues. They all knew exactly what to do and when to do it. Breakfast on the 21st for is an experience. You can try to sit outside, but there's a strong possibility it may be windy! That said, it is worth experiencing the early morning views. I didn't use the Tiki bar or pool area sadly but next time, I will.

Great Hotel

Room and bathroom very clean. Bed comfortable. Balcony view spectacular! Breakfast was yummy! Staff were super friendly. The room wasnt incredibly spacious, but we werent in our room other than to bathe and sleep, so it was perfect for us. We would definitely opt to stay there again.

Amazing view with an equally amazing room

We eloped in Waikiki and stayed at the Twin Finn for almost 2 weeks. We had a really good time. The staff ask if you’d like your room cleaned everyday or every other day. We like our privacy so would just take the do not disturb sign off the door which allowed the room to be cleaned, bed made up and fresh towels. This worked really well for us. The staff were great and nothing was a hassle. They also have ice machines on every second floor which we used daily. Our room was partial ocean view and the view was absolutely amazing. We had room 2225 which was away from the elevators and opposite end to the ice machine so our room was quiet. We would definitely stay here again without hesitation.

No toys for kids to play in the pool.

Some changes since last owners. Major reason why we stayed here was because of their pool. This time around there were so many rules - no toys for kids - no pool noodle… etc. sad to say but I think this will be our last time staying here.
