From the outside the hotel looks good, even the lobby was decent. We walked into our room and the floor was absolutely disgusting; stained with gum and years of dirty shoes on the carpet and the carpet never carpet cleaned. Bathroom was very dingy too. I complained asking for another room and was told that’s basically all the rooms are gross, and their working on renovating; from the agents tone of voice I was one of many to complain. When we went to check out I asked to pay cash and was told they didn’t haven’t change which is ridiculous. I don’t understand how this hotel has a 4/5, id give it a 2/5 as the pool was decent. Breakfast was gross. Do yourself a favour and don’t book here! We will be back to Rochester for the Strong Museum, but 1000% will not stay here.

Very basic but clean. Breakfast was wonderful and the staff were very friendly

Shower drainage was poor and wall had damage but otherwise hotel was good, clean and in a convenient location.

We are a family of 4 with two young kids and stayed in a suite. Things we liked: The layout of the room was convenient with a door between the bedroom and living area for when our little kids went to sleep, and the swimming pool was clean and warm. That’s about it, everything else was in need of a good cleaning and update. Stains all over the furniture and carpeting, the heating/cooling units in the room were so dirty, water damage and peeling wallpaper and overall a feeling it was unkept and dirty. We would not stay here again.

Clean friendly but breakfast staff was overworked. Only one person who could not keep up with the volume of clients. One room door did not lock properly and a dresser door was broken off at the bottom hinge. In need of some maintenance!

We contacted the front desk and were told that there was no one from maintenance on site so we would have to change rooms (we checked in at 3pm) The bathroom in our second room smelled like smoke (smoke free room) The heater made extremely loud noises at night There were no towels in the pool area The pool area smelled like sulphur Only 1 carton of milk available at breakfast

The building is tired. It has two restaurants in the parking lot, which was good. The check in was slow. Beds were fine.

Many things to highlight; For starters, I had issues with room allotment. I was allotted a room that was not even ready (the garbage was all over, beds were not done, empty bottles of water were all around the room). Got another room and guess what, the door did not open. Had to run back to reception to complain and out of surprise was guided to turn the handle upwards rather than downwards (which is way too explicit). Finally, I got into the room and it was filthy. The room stinks badly, there were stain marks on the carpet. The blanket had a stain mark. The air conditioning sucks. Out of nowhere, the compressor of the unit started making loud noises and disrupted our sleep. This was not all, few guests decided to not return to their respective rooms and rather spend the night on the hallway floor and shouting and banging the door. The hotel has cameras and it can be easily seen by the person at the reception that there is some nuisance. Which the ignored and we had to call them and report the problem. #carelessness The hallway was stinking and you can easily smell smoke #notsmokefree When I reported all this to the reception and decided to check out, they were ok, as if this is something normal at the hotel and they don't bother about it. I did ask for a refund for the inconvenience caused and they simply guided me to contact Expedia. When I contacted Expedia, I was told that the hotel only approved a partial refund. Reached allowed character limit. #highlydissatisfied

The room air conditioning system was broken. Room was too dusty. Carpet was full of some sticky substance. Next morning breakfast was finished while half of the guests were to wait and didn’t get few food items. Staff in the breakfast room was very arrogant. I would never go to this place again and won’t recommend anyone at all.

Our groups booked 4 rooms for the stay. All families had waited an hr for check in due to rooms were not ready wile we arrived around 8:30pm except one family arrived around 5pm. Our room toilet wasn't flush properly upon check-in, we stayed for two nites, but the receptionist told us no other room available. The hair dryer didnt work and told the receptionist next day morning, no action acted at all... Another family complained there were no garage tins and shampoo/conditioner and shower soap. Terrible stay and worst hotel ever stayed.
