Wadi Rum is amazing! This camp was pretty good but I do have suggestions for improvement. The staff is excellent and the manager Mohammad is really great. It's too bad that there is no WiFi area anywhere in the camp where guests can get Wifi or a cell signal if needed. I get that you're there to be disconnected from the world and not having any connection in the tent is fine, but the dining room area should have some basic connection.
I had a bubble tent and it was nice but it is starting to get a bit run down- the bubble had been repaired it appeared and you could see a big seam across it which marred the view, the curtains are starting to fall off the rail at the top, there were water stains on the doors and other areas, one of the bed side lamps didn't work, the plugs were problematic, the shower head wouldn't easy stay upright and kept falling over, etc. All of these are minimal issues but they add up on your overall impression and for the price you pay you are expecting more. Oh, and the old jalopy truck they sent to pick me up at the parking lot broke down halfway to the camp but the driver was able to fix it and get it going again.
Most of my problems were with the Expedia listing rather than the place itself. I didn't pay in advance and connection to pay with a credit card there is very spotty. There was no indication that American Express wouldn't be accepted and this needs to be clearly stated. Also, no laundry available.
