Good stay, will be my go-to in Edmonton

Stay was overall very good. I got room 814 which was very clean and housekeeping was good. It has a small balcony with a view of some buildings, good for fresh air. Sound insulation needs a lot of work. I could hear the person in the room next to mine arguing on the phone about pizza delivery and later I could hear the tv and person's snoring. I really liked the armchair and foot-stool with overhead light and a small laptop tray. I also appreciate the thought that went into the table and workspace. There was a smaller drawout table with wheels under the main table. Breakfast buffet was adequate, though coffee was weak.

2/10 Poor

So to start off, we went into the pool and there were things floating in the hot tub. I got in and instantly felt itchy so I got out. Then when we went to check out and due to my credit card, not working for whatever reason we had to do a cash deposit so they had to go check our room first and they accuse me and my husband of smoking in the room which we never did and they found a can with butts in it, but it was from us downstairs. My husband was drinking a beer and just put the button there and didn’t even think of it and brought it upstairs so they charged us $150 for that so I will never go back there again !

Stay somewhere else

We had numerous issues with key card to get in room, freezing room, clogged toilet, and staff that seemed disinterested in assisting other than a lovely woman who was cleaning rooms. At least it included a mediocre breakfast.

Great budget option!

We had two rooms for our brief two night stay in Edmonton. Beds, bathrooms, shower were all very comfortable and clean. The breakfast buffet was a perfect way to start the day - this was one of the reasons we booked the Holiday Inn, and it didn't disappoint. Lots of food options for breakfast and they are constantly restocking anything that runs out. One of the rooms had some kind of water damage on the floor of the carpet so it was constantly wet and had a strong cleaner smell to it, but it was not a big deal. Overall still a very great, comfortable, and safe stay. If you want to save some money, this is the best place to book.

The breakfast is average, I find the days they serve the pre-made egg omelettes to be less desirable than the plain scrambled eggs. I stay at this hotel about once every two month for a week at a time, and I would say without fail there is one or two days they forget to open the gym at 530am. Also I find the texture of the towels to be more like sandpaper than anything.

Won’t be back! This properly is incredibly dirty and dated. Rooms, bathrooms and hallways all dirty. Not sure they do much for upkeep. Pool deck floor and hot tub also dirty. The terrific breakfast that’s included hardly makes up for state of the property. None of the staff smile or seem happy to be there either.

Good hotel. A little disappointed the hottub was closed. Very friendly staff, and helpful staff, helped boost my truck in the parking lot.
