Disappointing stay
Stay was disappointing. Arrived and were told parking no longer free; only $15/night but have never been charged before and no info on website about that. Everything is tired. Hallways, rooms, bathroom. Needs updating, total redo desperately. Will no longer book Westin Waltham even though have been staying there for years.

Very clean and comfortable room. The king sized mattress was firm but also forgiving. The sheets were crisp and pristine cotton. It’s a fact, they are so confident in their betting that all the products, including mattress, and sheets are for sale. I found the bed to be as perfect as it gets. The room was also very quiet which we really appreciated. It would have been nice if breakfast was included. However, there is a small Starbucks counter where you can get a very good cup of coffee. There is also coffee provided in the room, along with complementary water bottles which was truly appreciated. I find that most reception desks at most hotels cannot tell you how long their pool is. This is a continual enigma to me as a lap swimmer. The Westin receptionist was able to tell me it was not really a lap pool. The pool water was warm, and the length of the pool seemed approximately 20 to 25 feet and there seemed to be an adequate fitness room as well. I did not end up using either. The check in and check out process was seamless. Overall, an excellent stay for our brief visit with a relative in Lexington which was just a 5 minute drive away.
