An antique peek
The hotel is less than 5 km from Suan Pakkard Palace, an Old World Thai building notable for its collection of antiques. You can reach it by way of the nearby Skytrain station. If you decide to drive instead, free parking is available at the hotel when you return.

Nice hotel for smokers.
We were horrified to find we’d been given a smoking room, it absolutely stank of cigarettes. The room itself was in need of a refurb particularly the bathroom. Everything functioned ok but just looked old and tired. We complained to reception about the smell. There were no other rooms available. They sent housekeeping round to spray the room with an air freshener, but this did very little. Even the corridors and lift stank of cigarettes. Disgusting place. Will never stay there again.

Disappointed
Our second stay here this time round was not as fantastic as the first. Would expect the same level of standards if not better. I couldn't give you guys a good one with regards to your cleanliness and condition of the room. Standards have definitely dropped. Hoped this feedback will jack you guys up for improvements in the near future.

Watch out waterfall from airconditioner!!!
The location is very nice. 5mins to metro by walk and location of hotel itself is in downtown of Bangkok. Except the location, I cannot give more than 2 stars in all the categories. Especially this hotel gave me amazing night with waterfall, wet all my suitcase pefectly. I put my luggage near under the airconditing facility? which has to do with drainage and sure no one can notice that the place is dangerous as it’s just normal look wall. In the moring my wife shouted out went outraged! Our suitcase wet and nothing to wear! Called to desk, and they provided laudry service in fast manner(took 4 hours). However, noone would feel good with that situation. It ruined our 1 day in Bangkok!!! Didn’t notice this hotel is less than 50usd normally, and I did make three night book

Hotel room
Room is spacious and the hotel staff are. Dry friendly. However, there are quite a number of cockroach nymph in the room and the toilet flush is very weak.

Old, worn, not modern, but city location is fine.
All was generally fine except the hotel and the rooms were not at all as on the website, the building and the rooms were much older and shabbier. I was on the 6th floor, but I only got a view quite directly into the car park of another high building right next door... Certainly not at all worth as much as I had paid... Hmm. Also the swimming pool is very dismal, very small and very confined, absolutely quite useless in any way for proper swimming, only fit as a noisy children's play area.... No sunlight can get into the swimming pool area, no good at all if you want to relax there and sunbathe... Also you have to walk through the hotel ground floor reception area right by the dining room in your swimming attire to get to it... Very off putting for actually using the pool and very off putting for those going for a meal to have to mix swimmers and diners together. Also all the sudden stupid loud noise from the pool with screaming children is very annoying close to the dining room... But the hotel staff and the location were fine, and the breakfast especially was excellent... Very good quality food and enormous amounts of it were available as a self service buffet. I suppose I would return if I didn't have the absolutely awful view directly into a concrete car park next door, and I had some kind of other city view which I had expected to get with this 12 storey hotel building...
