Good little hotel perfectly located
Perfect location. Lots of shops and restaurants around and all major sights within 20-30 minutes walking distance. Room was small but clean and staff was friendly and helpful. Recommended good restaurant with very reasonable prices.

PROS: The hotel has great friendly staff, good location and is walking distance to Old Lyon. Rooms are new and clean, and for the most part it has what you need. Except for the points below... CONS: The AC is NOT cold and the windows CANNOT be opened so it made the room very warm and stuffy. So if you like fresh air, or is claustrophobic, this is not the hotel for you. We were here in early November and it's cold outside...can't imagine what it would be like in the summer! We complained at the front desk and they advised us on what settings to put the AC on. We did that, and it was still not cold enough. And it sounds like the guy receives this complaint often because he answered my complaint like he's done it many times before. The room is very small. As in there is JUST enough space for all the appliances and furniture, and for you to walk around them and not a square inch more. We're small people and the bathroom is tight even for us, so if you're a big person, I can't imagine how hard it would be to get past the door. Toilet is right next to the bed, so if someone goes in and stinks up the bathroom...better close that door tight! Bed is on the firm side and not the most comfy.

The hotel was per se ok, but for four stars I'd expect more attention to details: - Staff at reception was friendly but slow, unexperienced, with limited language skills, and not really up to the task - Shower looked cheap, dust and debris from the walls in the bathroom felt on the floor all the time - Bed and room were rather small - Breakfast was good, but limited space and staff was slow in re-filling bread, cheese, bacon etc. - Staff at the bar looked very bored and unmotivated

The staff were very friendly and even upgraded us to a suite which was very nice and considering it was the last night of our 4 week Europe trip it was very much appreciated. The hotel is in a good location and central to everything. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Great location, nicely appointed, very small rooms but adequate rooms and bathrooms, updated with quality. Best hotel breakfast buffet I have ever had—fresh squeezed orange juice, automatic espresso machine, warm mini crepes, fresh croissants and bread, delicious jam.
