Notting Hill Hotel in great location.
Great location.... loved the neighborhood. It was only 1 block from the Tube. Comfy beds (sofa bed as well). Service good. Place seemed like it needed a little sprucing up, eg. Peeling wallpaper.

Great little hotel in a great location
My wife and I stayed for one night while visiting London. The location of the hotel is great, in the middle of trendy Notting Hill and really close to the tube station. The room was very spacious and clean and, although a little tired, it was at a very reasonable rate, given the area. As soon as we arrived we were made to feel very welcome by the staff who were really friendly and great hosts. Breakfast was either a range of cereals, continental or cooked fresh to order. I had the latter and it was very tasty. I would definitely choose to stay here again when I'm next in London and I would highly recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

Abbey Court is a very nice hotel with attentive and kind staff, in a warm environment. The decor has a local and traditional English feeling. Excellent breakfast, very quiet and close to the tube, making it easy to go everywhere in London. Only the fact of not having an elevator makes it difficult to get a maximum score.

Very boutique feeling-on the side of kitsch! Impressive bathroom and breakfast!

Descent hotel in good location. Would stay again.
Hotel is very well located near Notting Hill tube stop. Some of the fittings and fixtures are dated and old, along with the carpet, which was kind of dirty. The curtains were also quite dirty, I suppose from the air pollution in central London. The room was well appointed and there were several small amenities not usually given a lower priced hotels - pillow chocolates, nice bathroom soaps, nice towels and pillows. The breakfast was very nice, with a good selection and fresh. The coffee was also good (very important). The WiFi worked and signal strength was reasonable. All in, I would stay here again if the price were right.

Silverfish bugs in the room
The hotel looked nice enough and my brief interactions with the staff were pleasant, however my downstairs room (#3) had a silverfish infestation. Although these insects do not bite, they are usually associated with a lack of cleanliness.

If you have no other choice still don't stay here
We called to let them know we would have a later check-in, and they casually let us know they had no hot water - we could find someplace else if we wanted. It was 7 pm Saturday night in London in August and we were a family of (4) - there were no rooms. In addition to no hot water, when we arrived all the electricity in the room was out - no TV, no charging your phone, no fan...I called the desk and they said they would look at it. They didn't look at it, They didn't call back. The worse thing - everyone you talked to just didn't care. In the morning we went to take our shower, but we couldn't because the bathroom was full of wasps. Breakfast was a selection from Tesco but it was okay. They never apologized - I didn't ask but they didn't offer any discounts - all we got was a comment, "stuff happens". This hotel has gone from fun and nostalgic to apathetic and run down. If you have no other choices I still wouldn't stay here.
