To begin with, I’m not a review guy - I never write them but this time I felt it was absolutely necessary. We thought the hotel itself was really cute. Great location, decent service, but honestly we didn’t know what to expect, and so we’re happily surprised when it turned out to be decent. Yes, the hotel rooms are small and the shower is just a tub, but you’re not going to Paris to stay in your hotel .. and we made it work. The surprise came 3 days into staying in the hotel when we realized that we started feeling itchy. It was uncomfortable and I thought it was just allergies. When we came back home and went to the doctors, we realized that we caught scabies which were highly likely to have come from the hotel bedsheets not being clean. I contacted the hotel to let them know, and in a typical response they were very dismissive, not willing to take any responsibility, or take any action to look into the matter or address it .. they simply said “we are not responsible for it” and argued that I could’ve gotten it from somewhere else. Which usually I would be open to investigating further, but the reality is THIS was the only hotel we stayed at during our entire visit to Paris, which matched the incubation period for scabies. Needless to say, I would never stay there again and would highly recommend you look at other options.

Our room on the 4th floor was lovely, very comfortable, and it overlooked Notre Dame. Our daughter was on the 6th floor and her room was quirky with a low ceiling and only a bathtub, but still lovely and comfortable. We had trouble with our toilet and weren't completely satisfied with the help there, but I would stay at this hotel again. Lovely and close to all of the tourist sites.
