Everything was dirty.
The hotel was overall very dirty. Dirty lobby, dirty elevator, dirty hallways, dirty room and dirty pool. There were a half-eaten chicken leg in the elevator. We came abit early and told us that the check-in was at 3 pm, we came back at 3:10 pm and were told to wait because of change of staff. We had to wait to 3:30 pm to get checked in because of the staff were late for work. Why couldn't we get checked in by the staff that were there already? I think we were lucky not catching any disease from the hotel. But you get what you pay for, so if you want a dirty and cheap hotel smack in the middle of downtown Winnipeg, then this is the hotel for you.

Avoid
Advertised as air conditioned - broken. It was at least 10 degrees warmer in our room than outside on a warm summer night. Windows all sealed up so unable to open for fresh air. Very difficult to sleep due to heat. Brought it up to management and asked for a partial refund - they refused. Hotel also had garbage and cigarette ash strewn about in the 4th floor hallway where we stayed, very off-putting. This hotel advertises beautiful pictures but absolutely does not live up to the listing - stay away!
