Pleasant stay - non-mask staff
When check-in, front desk gentleman had mask on. While finishing up 2 ladies came in and did not have mask on. They went behind desk, got a log, and wrote on it and returned some card keys. Hotel seemed clean spotless. Only concern were the towels. Most towels had some stains and did not want to use. Great we brought our own beach towels and used them after shower. Upon check out, the front desk lady did not have mask and was not friendly at all. Once more 2 other ladies came in and went to behind desk and got log and wrote down something. I tried to leave as soon as possible since none of the 3 ladies had a mask.

Roaches and Cleaning Service Sucked.
Did not like the stay at this place. During my 5 days stay, the bed linen was not changed, and the bed was never made. Upon using the bathroom at night. Roaches were all in the bathroom floor area and the desk area. I would not recommend this motel.

i do not want to give them a bad review but I did have trouble at check in.. When I called prior I was told that I could bring my small dog by one person and when I arrived another person said pets not allowed and would not allow me to check in after the fact she had already swiped my card at check in.... manager had to be called

Great location across the bay in Rockport and also a community park. A short drive to Aransas Pass on a very good road. The Days Inn was recently acquired from another operator, and the complete remodel really shows.

The only issue we had was an annoying drip sound from the A/C unit from the room above us dripping on our unit, on the outside. I had to walk out at about 2:30am to cover our unit with a towel to stop the annoying drip sound. Staff was understanding.

I've been reluctant to stay in a hotel since the outbreak of Covid 19, but I needed a clean place to stay after my camping spot turned out to be inadequate. This hotel was conveniently located between Aransas National Wildlife Refuge and the beach at Port A. It was clean and quiet, comfortable. The continental breakfast is a joke- a granola bar, a bottle of water and a mandarin orange!
