What a place! We loved the modern structure, airy lobby and restaurant. The room was lovely with a washer and dryer, semi -comfortable Murphy bed and such a nice kitchen! The kitchen was perfectly clean with great dishes, oven, stovetop, but no microwave- (thought that was kinda weird). The innovation brought us there, but make sure you are not given a room on the railroad side - the noise on that side is non-stop! Don’t fall for “city view” - I think they tell everyone that every view is a city view. We were impressed with the price and that they are dog friendly, but really, there’s no way to sleep through that kind of noise - constant train noise and when the whistles go off you will be wide awake! Room 509 had cracks around the door to the hallway that let in so much light that we had to block it with some of the sofa cushions.
I used the stairs a half a dozen times while I was there (need my steps!) and those fire doors slam so loudly the noise is heard all the way down the hallway.
I suppose it’s a fine place to party, and pass out. but if you need to be awake in the morning and do work you should opt for something much more boring. We needed to work so did not extend our stay.
Restaurant food was fine. The live plants in the hotel were amazing. We loved the concept, but the location next to the train is what will cause us not to recommend.
