Worst hotel in KL
This ‘so call’ hotel is very old and dated. On check in, our room was disgusting nasty with soiled, stain and torn worn out carpet and chair. The sink was clogged and no towels provided. Within minutes of checking in I had to call housing keeping to clean up and provide the basic necessities. I complained, however the manager and staff was very unfriendly with sour faces, like hell we paid $105 Canadian a nite for this dump and the manager refused to upgrade us to a better room, giving us the routine nonsense that there are no available rooms left. Everything in the room is 70’s style with worn out furnitures and carpeting, just plain nasty. We were very disappointed and upset. The only positive, is the location to shopping and the subway. We visited KL four times in the past and this is the worst hotel we have experienced. Never again would we book or recommend this dump. Stay away.

ParkRoyal Hotel is not for holidaymakers
The hotel room is not designed for the occupants to relax, it is just a place for one to sleep in, in fact it does not encourage the occupants to relax in the room. I had a kings size bed in the room, but only one office chair plus a single armchair in the room, with two occupants both cannot sit comfortably in the room, plus the TV selection of TV channels in the hotel is limited.

Great Hotel in Bukit Bintang
The hotel is situated very well in Bukit Bintang, just less than two blocks from the main intersection. That's less than two blocks away from the Monorail stop as well as the subway stop for the new Sungai Buloh line. As such, the location is very central, and within walking distance of several tourist areas, such as Jalan Alor, Lot 10, Fahrenheit 88, and Pavilion KL. The Monorail and subway makes getting to and from places like KL Sentral, KLCC (Petronas towers), Chinatown and Little India within easy reach. There is also a walkway linking Pavilion KL with KLCC, so walking is also a safe and convenient option. The hotel itself was very affordable and was great value for the price paid. The room was spacious and well-outfitted. The bed was comfortable, wifi was strong, and the bathroom amenities were great. There is also an exercise room and a pool on the 6th floor. The hotel also provides complimentary bottles of water (x2) per night which is also convenient. Staff are friendly and are able to speak English. Would definitely recommend a stay at this hotel if staying in KL for a few days. Definitely a good choice for those wishing to see the touristy parts of KL as the hotel is centrally located. Also a good option for those just wishing to relax as the hotel has a lot of good amenities and restaurants.

Poor House Keeping But Good Service
We made a complaint about stain on the bed sheet and holes in pillow cases and towels. I am impressed with the service management team. They responded fast and handled our complaint very well. Bed sheet, pillow cases and towels were all replaced by the time we got back to our room after taking a couple of hours of nearby exploration. On the 2nd day, we received a fruit platter from the service manager. I will not be hesitated to use this hotel again.
