Nice location. Didn’t know train goes by right by the hotel, very loud at night.
I did really like our stay here. The walls are pretty thin so we could hear our neighbors…

Have stayed here before. It seems to have been remodeled so it is very nice , much newer and it's in the perfect location
Very nice, clean room, comfortable bed, nice bathroom, nice staff, beautiful lake view
Loved the view and location! It was so easy to check in and out. Plenty of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Great place.
I loved the place but front desk wasn't to helpful the gentleman was snobby. I felt as he spoke down to me.
Loved this location! Enjoyed sitting on balcony overlooking water with coffee in morning. Little kitchenette area was well suppplied so making breakfast, lunch prep easy. Only downfall is it is along railroad tracks (but aesthetically pleasing) and 3 trains passed during the night blowing very loud horns. "My cousin Vinny style" needless I would stil stay here again.
This is an old outdated hotel, which was apparent by the pictures and price but with a wonderful location on the lake. I paid the extra $30 per night for a lake view room as shown in the pictures online. When I checked in and noticed the hotel was set right along the railroad track at the edge of the lake, I restated I had paid for a lake view room and was told “oh ya your on that end but you will have a view.” Much to my surprise, I had the very end room (after asking NOT to be there) and the only view when you walked in the room was of the railroad tracks. You’d have to hang over the edge of the balcony to see the lake! I immediately went back and they did give me a new room two units over but still not a great view unless you sat on the far side of the room and balcony. Also the air conditioning did not cool the bedroom and the ceiling fan in the bedroom helped but the light would turn on randomly at night so I got to choose sleeping with the light and fan on or no fan. Walls were paper thin, no smoking signs for balcony yet the neighbor smoked into my room each time and kids running over head. Wanted to like this place but don’t think I’d be back. You get what you pay for (but apparently not a lake view. To be fair, the mgr. did adjust my price a bit at check out. And the Lake Oswego area was very nice...spent most time out since my room was just so so.
The Hotel was pleasant and we were able to upgrade to lake facing room. The only issue was the toilet was located in a not well functional location; leaving no room from the shower wall and you. Not sure why this was done this way. Would be very difficult for someone of a larger stature.
Room smelled musty without air conditioner on. Shades were broken si had to close drapes for privacy...... Thanks
one can enjoy the lake scenery from a balcony or even better, take a walk along the lake
Front desk welcoming, informative, suggested restaurants close to inn. One gave. E mapquest directions to property I was to see, maybe purchase. Snack bars were healthy ; I took one for late night hunger. Loved location so I could walk to city shops. That was terrific, HATED the furniture in living area. How depressing. I felt as if I were back in Motel 6 inthe 1950s.
