Old World Charm with Some Creaks
The Baglioni is a really cool old hotel. If you're looking for a local hotel experience and don't mind some of the quirks (loud, creaky floors, older everything), it's a fantastic location. The restaurant on the rooftop is very good - although the service there was not stellar, they were very nice and the food was great.

My 3 night stay.
It was a beautiful Hotel to stay in.The view was amazing. City construction work didn't do the hotel justice. Breakfast food was delicious. I just felt I was being watched to much.

Short trip to Florence
Great friendly and knowledgeable staff. We have stayed in Florence on many occassions but this was the first and definitely not the last time we stay at Grand Hotel Baglioni. Next time we go I hope to use the roof terrace as it looks stunning.

A restaurant with a spectacular view!
I chose this hotel because of its proximity to the SMN train station. This was how I arrived to the city, and the meeting point for my day trip to Siena. I also loved the photos of the hotel, with the wooden beamed ceilings. Service was great, never much of a wait for the front desk. My key card didn't work a few times, which was a pain. The breakfast had a good variety, and the view from the fifth floor restaurant was breathtaking. The weather was terrible, but in good weather they have lovely outdoor spaces to relax. They provide you with toiletries and a hair dryer, so no need to pack those. The bed was a bit firm, and the rooms weren't very soundproof but that is due to the historic nature of the property. I would highly recommend a stay here. Note: there is a lot of construction going on in front of the hotel, so it was unsightly. But I didn't hear the noise on my side of the hotel.
