Inspiring location; expect surprises
I had a nice stay. The books and quotes everywhere are a nice, inspiring touch! I got room 215 at first, without a king bed like I had reserved, the noise from the street was a bit much and the floor/bed didn't seem level. I called reception the next day and they got me something much nicer on floor 7. The chromecast on the TV worked in 215 but not 708. Beware: There is an "amenity fee" of $30 per night, that you have to pay at checkout. I was surprised!

Amazing customer service, good location and unique decor! We travel monthly to San Francisco and this is one of the best hotels we stayed at so far! Virginia really made our stay special and was very accommodating. The hotel is at a great location, sitting only a block from Union Square, a few blocks to the Westfield Mall and a quick jaunt to the Embarcadero. We will definitely be back!

My daughter and I had a very comfortable stay. The hotel was clean and friendly and in a great location. The staff were all very helpful but Virginia was exceptional - nothing was too much trouble and we are grateful for the help and advice she gave us. I would definitely return.
