This hotel was a great place for my son and I to stay for our San Francisco vacation. The location was safe and quiet, in a nice neighbourhood and close to public transit. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Very Good
Our room was clean and the bed was comfy. We enjoyed the continental breakfast, which we ate in the courtyard each morning. In an expensive city like San Francisco it was really nice to have breakfast included with the room. We were withing walking distance to dozens of restaurants and shops and a 20 minute walk to Fisherman's Wharf. The staff were all lovely. Given its location and value, we would stay here again.

Excellent staff
Disappointed by this hotel. We picked this hotel for the pool and location. The pool was not inviting and weather too cold for swimming. You can hear everything coming from the rooms around you. Beds so uncomfortable. Ppl up early in the grass area were very loud. Location wasn't great. Staff was the only good thing about our stay. In a city like San Francisco there has to be better. Next trip we will be staying somewhere else.

Poor
It’s an old outdated motel . The staff is nice , but they can’t cover the smelly rooms with stained carpet

We've stayed here several times in the past and this time was disappointing. Reserved a queen, got two doubles. Front desk staff doesn't take Covid threat seriously via sloppy wearing of mask. This place is not being kept up and in need of a broom in the plaza and dirty stairwells. Our room had lamp w/burned out bulb, sink handle part missing, closet wall had blood/red paint streak. Toilet not cleaned of all feces. And what the heck is a $15 destination tax? No heads up about that. This property was once a gem.

Not a fan of Hotel Del Sol
We arrived & realized we had to pay an extra $30 for parking! Then got into our room and our tv didn’t work - I went to call the front desk and the phone didn’t work either! Finally the sweet desk clerk came up to help us- she had to come two more times because the remote wouldn’t work! 🙄 Then when I went to use one of the paper cups there were used ones with trash inside.....yuck! There were also people down in the courtyard area who seemed to live there - not just hotel guests. I would not recommend this place to anyone!

I didn't like that there was a used mask and a used bottle of water in our room there was hair in both the shower and sink in addition to finding a hair on the inside of my lid of my hot cocoa during our continental breakfast. Also the $30 a night that they charge for guest parking that should come included during your stay.
