If you are going to be using the "resort facilities" a lot, you pay $35 for them and so you are better off to stay in town. I did was not able to sit poolside or use the gym so that upcharge was a waste.

Wedding Night Stay Review
I’ll start by saying the hotel was beautiful & clean and most employees we interacted with were kind. So they get some points for that. However, I stayed there on August 29 for my wedding night. I called the front desk at 10am that morning and asked for the possibility of a 3pm check in (regular check in is 4pm) as the wedding started at 4:30pm and my husband wanted to check us in before arriving at the nearby venue. I would have understood if not but the front desk concierge on the phone was very kind and said not a problem and she was moving us to the priority check in list, she was recently engaged and was so excited for us! She said I’ll put you on the 11am clean list so you’ll be good to go this afternoon when he comes by. Fast forward to 3pm, my husband arrives to check in and get dressed before the big night and the front desk VERY rudely explains our room isn’t ready and acts as if we’re insane to think it would be. I’m going to mention at this point it’s 40 minutes before a typical check in - and I was your priority check in? You can’t find a clean room to let my husband get ready for our wedding in? If there was a chance we couldn’t check in, the lady should have mentioned that in the morning. Or at the very least the staff could have been nice and we would have received it better. They were rude and cold. I’m not surprised because every time I spoke to this hotel leading up to the day there was inconsistency in customer service.

I understand the challenges with Covid but not having room service available in a nice hotel seems a little much and was expecting to have room service during our stay. Additionally, our toilet broke and wouldn't flush.

Wish the SHOPS were OPEN!!!
Great Stay ...very enjoyable...although I missed the shops being open left on Wed. was there Monday to Wed. and shops were closed. I saw many beautiful items through the window wish I could have purchased a few. Sad... missed out on purchasing some lovely tops...swim wraps and items as gifts to give to family upon returning.

almost perfect
Had to leave the property for dinners because of Covid. Would have been a perfect stay if their fine dining restaurant and fitness center was open. Still had to pay a resort fee. Not happy with that. $45 each

Falsefront
Trying to call the hotel prior to check in to confirm the reservation was an ordeal in of itself. The accommodations left much to be expected. The inconsistencies with the way the staff answered the phones or did anything in general gave rode side motel versus a luxury resort. I could have paid far less monies at another hotel and would receive better service. The employees of the hotel class down the place.

Covid puts a damper on our trip
Unfortunately due to Covid most of the resort was not open-restaurants, spa, shops . What was supposed to be a relaxing weekend was not from all the running out to get food etc. Also, housekeeping was every three days which was not explained at check in nor was there a review of the property. Luckily, after bringing all this to their attention they rightfully took off the parking and resort fee. I commend then for doing right by a Marriott Rewards member. Have seen much more interesting and prettier pool areas at similar level resorts.

Room was basic. Service not very good. We had to request cleanup of our room. Things took forever. Hottubs were closed and noone knew why. Not even the staff.

Awesome stay, especially during the time we stayed.
