Staff Were nice and the hotel was clean however the room let the hotel down massively. The Room was Dated. Air Conditioning was old and didn't work. Had to open the windows as a result, however the heat was still uncomfortable in the room and it was so loud outside during the night. Rough sleepers were sleeping in there tents around the hotel and would be loud and argue throughout the night then, you would get woken up daily by the bin men, road sweeper and delivers at 6am. Had the Room of had working AC, and we could if kept the windows closed, we may would have a much more enjoyable experience and slept during our stay

Great location. Clean efficient and friendly. Confused about breakfast policy. Online says available for €16 and €15. Sign in lifts says pre register at reception to pay €14 which we did but then charged €16.95 each as receptionists hadn’t added this to breakfast list. That was annoying

The most expensive and disappointing hotel ever
I spent 2 weeks traveling in Ireland. This hotel was the most expensive and disappointing out of all 8 hotels I stayed at during that trip. First off I was looking forward to enjoying a climate controlled room. The week I traveled was oddly hot. The air conditioning did not work at all. I spoke with 3 different people at the desk about the issue. Each time I was promised a fan. I got the fan on the second day, and after asking 3 times. I was told that maintenance would come to look and fix the AC and they clearly never did. Next I could not turn on the ventilation fan in the bathroom. I was told by hotel staff that there was no fan, which there was, because I could see the unit mounted on the wall. On day 2 I discovered a switch 7 feet up above the bathroom door that had been switched off. That was the switch that controlled the fan. I also found upon opening the cover on the fan that it was caked full of dust, like a piece of felt had formed inside the cover. Perhaps this was why they had turned it off. The final epic disappointment was when I went to do the online checkout and was unable because I was being asked to pay for my room again! I assumed this was a glitch, so I went to the desk to check out in person, where I was again told that I had not payed for my room (which I had). I showed proof of payment, at which point the person at the desk admitted that on the day I checked in, the system was down, and had not recorded my payment.
