Weekend in Omaha
The hotel has an interesting and attractive concept but the noise level was very disappointing. After getting very little sleep the first night because of all the noise coming from the neighbors we moved to a different room and had a good night sleep. The hotel bar was fun as well as the pool table and fooseball table. Swimming pool was cool even though they say it’s heated. We brought a pet so that was convenient!

The frustration I had was they were out of most drinks, no pop machines so you had to buy in their little shop. They didn’t go and restock when they could have went to a store to get bottled water, just blamed it on weekend crowd.

Employees don't care.
They lost my reservation first. Checked in an left. Got back to a room I didn't reserve. Went and asked why. They didn't have one. Went back to room & fell asleep. Got up and stepped on a dried olive. Asked them to clean room. Came back 10 hours later to the same olive. Showed manager & he upgraded us. 2 hours later hotel was hit by lightning. Everything flooded! Called office and they said if you felt safe stay, if not leave for a full refund. Packed up. Hallways were ankle deep, water coming from lights, pouring out of the elevators. Went down 4 flights to lobby. They put a couch in front of the door and had to find another way out. employees had drinks from the bar in hand instead of trying to help people. Got my refund but before and during the flooding the employees just didn't care. I love the Aloft brand but will not be returning to this one.
