Looks fancy but is more of a budget option

We had a non-smoking room, but the second we opened the door, we were hit by the strong smell of smoke. In fact, there were many parts of the building that smelled like smoke and the carpets had stains in several places, too. The room itself was spacious and clean and the view of the bay was excellent. The pillows were strangely stiff -- not very comfortable. All of the restaurants/bars in the hotel were overpriced, which was a disappointment. The hotel is also about 45 minutes from Tokyo Station by train, so not convenient if you want to travel around Tokyo for several days. The hotel had the appearance of a high-class operation, but there were many details (i.e. smoky rooms and hallways, stains on the carpets) that showed that it was more of a fancy-looking budget option.

I liked the location; the hotel is few minutes walking distance from Kaihimmakuhari station and a variety of shops. Onsite, there is a small coin laundry room for all guests and another for female guests only. The great thing is that there are a majority of machines which wash and dry the clothes all in one unit; this means you don't have to open the machine to transfer the clothes as washing and drying happens in the same compartment.

    Small but convenient hotel

The room was smaller than I thought. Ceiling is low. Hotel staffs are very kind and helpful. Many little shop inside hotel, It was very convenient! I didn’t included breakfast, I’m not sure If you add in your package It will be cheaper or not because it’s ¥2400 per person and quite pricey. I guess It was fare price for this area with two beds in the room.

Hotel staff was helpful, with some speaking conversational English if needed. Very clean rooms, but the pillows weren't very comfortable. They were a bit thin compared to a western style, so i reccomend bringing one with you. The area is full of shopping and dining, and about an hour to Tokyo from the station.

Very nice hotel for the price I paid. Room is very clean, only thing I would suggest is asking for extra pillows as the ones provided are very thin

Nice hotel but very expensive, late check out is 3000¥ and early check in is 5000¥. Normal room are way too small for me, had to upgrade to bigger 10 000¥. Ended up VERY expensive only for the Tokyo Auto Salon.

No towel for onsen, that is an absolute no no! Onsen was not an appealing display for the status of the hotel. Do not know the reasoning for 3 onsens

Good location, but room comfort lacking for some

Great location for conventions at the Makuhari Messe. Easy to walk to the convention centre and also convenient to local restaurants and shopping. The nearby Aeon Malls are huge; easy to kill some time. Main issue I have with this hotel is lack of temperature control in the rooms. My room was consistently 25-26C when I arrived each night and would only get down to 22C at lowest by the early morning hours. This made sleeping difficult, as I was always overheated at night. The pillows provided are also a typical Japanese style; very hard and thin. May be uncomfortable for Western visitors.

    Convenient, but not comfortable

Apparently if the room didn’t indicate non-smoking, they’d automatically assign you the smoking room. I’m a bit allergic to cigarette smoke so I had a clogged nose all through the night. The odor must have been absorbed by the pillows because they smell too. Worse, the middle of the bed was sinking. I asked for non-smoking room during checkin but was told there was no available despite having 3 bldgs with the center up to 50 floors. Although the stay was convenient, it was not comfortable.
