Great location and staff
Excellent location, friendly and efficient staff, and breakfast was cold but good selection (especially if you like the sweeter pastries and muffins). A lot of wear and tear in room with carpet/furniture stains, worn carpet, etc., but very clean. I’d definitely stay here again.

Great Location but not for early sleepers
Location is superb right outside Baixa-Chiado Metro Station and lots of sights etc within walkable distance. Bed was really comfortable and room a good size though some aspects were a little tired. Complementary water on arrival nice but only two teabags. These were not replaced. I don’t think its a 4 star hotel, certainly not like any other I’ve stayed with that rating. It’s a good 3 star in my opinion. The reception staff were never particularly welcoming. No smiles, just looks. The only downside is the popular pub opposite. There is noise until around midnight which will be heard if you are in a room at the front of property like I was. I stuck headphones on so for me it was ok but I am sure there are other good quieter hotels in same area for same value/cheaper.

The propery was ok..toilet didnt work at most times, i explained to one of the staff. He just kind of escused it.. on the other hand the female staff who worked at the desk were very helpful, cordial and easy to speak with.

I like where the property was located near metro and lots of restaurants. All rooms facing the street are very noisy. the bar across the street has very loud music almost every night. weekends the smokers outside the bar yell until about 2 am. I was there for 2 weeks so I got to enjoy the sound everyday of the week. If you have to stay in a room facing the street don't, if you want to sleep. The interior rooms should be quiet enough. the location is great except for the bar. I was warned about the noise but did not listen, on the map the place is great.
