Outstanding hotel in a great location close to many subway and train connections with many restaurants and shopping. Very friendly staff and superb housekeeping. Very efficiently laid out queen bed room with a great 22nd floor view.

Good hotel but shows the age
The hotel is in a good location. Airport limusine bus has a direct stop at the hotel was very helpful. We flew in from Narita, and as it was into rusglh hour, it took us about 2 hours to get to the hotel. The location is well connected to the rest of Tokyo as its only a couple of minutes from the Ikebukuro Station West exit. We booked a standard Queen room and it's quite small. The room was 20 sq meters; however, we found it quite dusty and as both my husband and Inare allergic to dusts, our first night wasn't restful. Next morning, we expressed our concern about the dust in the room specifically on the carpet and the chair fabric, etc. The staff was very helpful and did their best tobgive us a different room. We are grateful for the good service we received. Even though they try to make the room as clean as they can, our room was still dusty... We have travelled many years and stayed in different Hotels in Japan, i would say this is one of the rare times where we didn't find the place clean, the dusty situation probably was due to the age of the Hotel. The service is great. Location is great as well. If you are not picky about dustiness, you will find this place comfortable.

Saved my entire trip, thank you!!
Lovely hotel, very clean and they give you freebies in your bathroom, like hair brushes, toothbrushes, hair ties, razors, etc. Spent a little extra on a room on a higher floor and was lucky enough to get views of Mt Fuji early half of the mornings I was there (best time to see it was 5-7am, by 8am the sun is just too high and makes distant objects near invisible). I did not realize this was primarily a hotel for weddings, but that did not bother me. Lots of stores on the ground level, as well as a laundry room. The konbini in the building saved me many times when I was hungry or wanted to have a drink. I lost my wallet while out and about exploring at Meiji Jingu and the manager at this hotel helped by calling the shrine for me and seeing if my wallet had been found. Long story short, he saved my entire trip as I'd had all my credit/debit cards in there! I'll never forget how he came through for me. The kaiseki room service breakfast was delicious as well. Pro tip, you have to call room service to take the food trays away after you're done eating--housekeeping will NOT remove the trays from the room when they come to clean. This was a little confusing for me, but I accepted it as just a peculiarity of the local culture. Overwhelmed by the excellent experience and service I had here, I would love to stay again when I come back to Ikebukuro.
