First trip to Brugge
It is disappointing that NH has not invested more into this hotel. It has great potential in a wonderful city. Other reviewers said the hotel was tired, this is correct. I can live with some dated furniture, but replacing the linens and towels would go far to improve this hotel. When we arrived they did not have our Hotels.com reservation which was irritating as we had been to many cities and never had a problem. But I give the front desk staff credit, they worked hard and found us a room during a very busy, and booked up time of the year. We also had an issue with a man knocking on our door at 8am and they very quickly dispensed staff to deal with the man (who appeared to be drunk). Close to the city shopping and centre.

Lovely hotel in the old section of Brugge
This is a lovely hotel within the old town - about a 5 minute walk from the train station and also a short walk to the square. The staff and the rooms were well maintained, good beds and a nice selection of pillows. The staff was very helpful with directions and suggestions on sites to see in the hotel. We would definitely plan to stay there on our next visit.

Nice hotel in central Bruges
Nice hotel that was warm, quiet and comfortable. My room was spacious and well equipped. The restaurant has a very limited and slightly uninspired evening menu, but there are loads of places nearby to eat so it's not really a problem, although I was tight for time so did eat in the bar of the hotel and it was fine.
