Room updating and repair
Room a/c and heating didn’t work. Was very very hot, fridge froze our fruit and vegetables, tv either had cheap cable or something because you could hardly read a hockey score on the tv it was so blurry. No refilling of coffee or anything after the first night from housekeeping.

Old part room was a little small for my wife and I. But bed was super comfortable. Restaurant breakfast special was good although waitresses were having some issues but were trying first 2 mornings. Maybe not properly trained? But little blonde waitress (Mackenzie) on Thursday morning sure knew her stuff and looked after us well. Tavern overlooking curling ice was a neat area with awesome wing night on Wed night. All in all We there 3 nights on business and would stay again. Very friendly front desk staff. Pleasant experience.

The property was fine, pool area nice. Room smelled like an ashtray and was awoken at 7 am by plows clearing the parking lot. Not an appropriate time to be loudly clearing the parking lot of a hotel. When a comment was made at check out staff was less than sympathetic.

We booked this hotel specifically for the pool only (we didn’t need a place to stay , just looking for something to do with the kids ) Our first night there the pool had about 14 inches of water throughout the whole thing. Hot tub not working . I got hurt on the water slide and I didn’t realize before going up that the pool was so low filled . The next day the pool was filled and hot tub was working but both were absolutely freezing . The pool was so cold we were getting numb and my baby had blue lips.

The rooms were clean, comfortable and it was quite. We stayed in the newer part of the hotel so I’m not sure what the older side is like anymore but the newer room was worth the money.
