Just OK
The $50 deposit won’t be returned for up to 15 days! This is unheard of. My room was dusty and looked worn. Guests received a note at check-in stating that no daily housekeeping services available, but can ask for items if needed. Customer Service team were nice. Overall, I won’t be using this hotel again. Too many surprises!

Terrible hotel
The hotel was very dirty. The first room had stains all over the carpet and the ac did not work. We transferred to another room. It was filthy. I would never stay here again.

Poor Services Due to Extreme Staff Shortages
Having stayed at La Quinta Raleigh/Durham Southpoint prior to the pandemic, I was very disappointed in how much had changed for my June 2022 stay. The room was large and the bed comfortable. However, the hotel was very short staffed. The desk clerk was inexperienced using the computer, so checking in took 20 minutes. Also, there was no manager present during our Friday/Saturday stay. When I asked about a billing error, I only got the manager's email and was instructed to contact her on Monday. Although the hotel had detailed policies regarding noise, there was no one on staff to implement those policies when non-registered guests arrived on the floor at 3:30 a.m. trying to get into a guest's room to party. They pounded on the door and shouted for over an hour. When the desk was called, staff only asked the room number for the disruption and made no attempt to come to the floor to resolve the problem. Further, at breakfast on Saturday morning, there was only one staff person on-site managing the desk and the breakfast. There was no bread, fruit, or tea bags available and the coffee pots were not re-filled in a timely manner. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this hotel to future guests.

I hate to speak so negatively, but this property is grossly not maintained. Every part of the hotel showed Capet withcaked on dirt, doors, walls chipped and needing paint. Wallpaper peeling off the walls in rooms and hallways. Chipped and terrible looking showers and bathrooms. The only reason we did not check out immediately was that the beds were actually clean and there were no other nearby hotels that had availability. I cannot believe that a Wyndham owned property would be allowed to remain in this condition. The whole place needs a major remodel.
