Old - needs major updates to the room.
Excellent location. Hotel unit needs major updates. Ie pillows - bedding - mattress - towels etc. Hairdryer broke out in flames! I reported to front desk and asked for a replacement. Took to long and had to check out.

Lies, miscommunications, and horror movie hotels!
I would LOVE to actually tell you what this hotel was like BUT I CAN'T! I booked to stay here June 4th 2020 for mine and my husband's honeymoon (After five years we were ACTUALLY getting to go!!) We arrived at the hotel around 1:45am to find the DOORS CHAINED SHUT and a sign saying "Starting April 1st, 202 we will be close due to COVID." at the end of the letter it said they were transferring to their "sister" resort with a phone number. Called that number five times FIVE TIMES!! and no one ever bothered to answer. So, now that it's 2am by this point my husband and I decide to go drive to the sister hotel and ask if our reservation was moved here. This "sister" hotel is not even CLOSE to the same par as this one. It looked absolutely disgusting and like it was out of a clown horror movie. Needless to say we did NOT stay there. Why I was NEVER informed of the "transfer" and why this hotel is letting people still book to stay and then MOVING THEM WITHOUT WARNING is beyond me. Do NOT give this place your business do not give them your time, because obviously they don't care about their guests enough to communicate what is happening. Much less even send them somewhere of equal standards. And if anyone from the hotel reads this my Sister-in-law is a travel agent and I informed her of this and will be making sure that she informs her co-workers and so on.

Nice Hotel
I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel has a traditional décor which I like better than new cold styles. Clean and fresh room. Liked soap and shampoo scent. One front desk lady questioned me when I asked for extra towels as they were very thin. I don't recommend the timeshare tour offered in the hotel lobby.

We were on a family vacation and had two rooms. Both rooms were dated, not cleaned very well and had a stale smell in both of them. First Night in we had the maintenance person up to our room 15 minutes after check in as our TV didn't work, they were quick and responsive but couldn't get the TV to work well. One of our rooms faced the pool and that was a nice view to wake up to however the other room faced a construction area and at 7am they were out their drilling, nailing, yelling and we heard it all in our room. Check in was very smooth the person who checked us in was very nice. Its not a horrible place to stay but its not the best either. Good if your staying a night or two. We stayed two night and moved to a different hotel.

Thick twice before booking
Upon arrival, the hotel looked abandoned. On the first night, my husband was locked in the bathroom because the lock was broken (the locking mechanism would not disengage), and the door was stuck. He tried to wiggle the handle and pull the door from the inside while I tried to wiggle the handle and push from the outside. We tried for 10 minutes before the button popped out and we managed to unstick the door. When the handyman arrived, he saw that my husband was out of the bathroom and he did not attempt to fix the door/lock; his comment was “As long as you are out, you are okay” and walked away. The next day, my husband stepped on a 1-inch sliver of glass that was in the carpet. We ended up at urgent care to remove the glass. So, our planned events were canceled due doctors order to keep his foot elevated and our uncleaned/not vacuumed room. When we returned to the room, we felt a draft and noticed that the room was nosier than usual. The window fell in from the top hinge (have video) which was a safety issue since we had our 5-year-old with us, and we were on the 4th floor. So, we kept the curtains closed for the rest of the trip to ensure she did not go near the windows. My husband reported the issues to the front desk and the Rep. told him that the manager was unavailable, and she was in meetings all day. She asked for the room # and did not take our contact info. for the manager to follow up. Needless to say, we will not be booking any future reservation with this hotel.

This hotel was mediocre. Not horrible, not great. Coffee pot didn't work, so 15 minutes and I had a new pot, but the filters didn't fit... 15 more minutes and I could make my coffee. Next day, same thing. They had no spare coffee makers. Seems odd for a bigger hotel. Location was good.
