The hotel was beautiful. Very clean, very comfortable. Lovely room. But for the price, absolutely no amenities. No water glasses in the room, no microwave, no coffee maker and I think I was charged for wifi. They gave us free drink tickets and said we could use them for alcoholic or nonalcoholic beverages. So when we went to the restaurant for breakfast we let her know we wanted to use them for coffee. She said ok. Then our bill came back and we were charged $4 per cup (you pay by the cup). I asked why we were charged and were told that was only at the bar. ?? Why that couldn't have been explained up front? Then after paying like $$16 for coffee we noticed free coffee in the lobby. LOL! Why? Breakfast was meh too. I was quoted 70 for valet parking and was charged 80. And I have another 20 fee that I have no idea what it was for that I need to call about.

Lovely stay in a nice area
Our stay was lovely although all of Chicago (and much of the US) was freezing on these dates. A restaurant across the street was suggested by the front desk and we ate there twice because it was good food (Italian), a fair price and best of all, very close!
