The hotel is pretty secured and access card is required to access everywhere. Staff is friendly. Breakfast is not included and $8 to order breakfast. So we go to McDonald. After we check in, we were told the room is in the back building and the luggage cart won't be able go there due to several steps.

The hotel needs major upgrading to keep it in the 3.6 to 4.0 rating. The location is good for dining etc and right off the highway. The doors, frames and some walls are banged up pretty badly. AND there was a fun convention when we went. Not up our alley in these sad times of mass school shootings. Anyway that is only an opinion.

Brooooooooo......if all Holiday Inns were like this, I would only stay at the Holiday in from now on. The AC was set at like 60 degrees when we walked into the room lol. Bathtub was massive and what I'm pretty sure is illegal amount of water pressure. There were two sinks, one inside the bathroom, one outside to allow two people to get ready at the same time. Bed and especially the pillows were A . Everything was clean and worked. The Dish or DirecTV channels were actually good and not just local channels. I mean honestly, this place is probably better than most Vegas budget hotels (like Monte Carlo, Flamingo, LinQ, etc.) I'm beyond surprised at the quality.

This property is run down and poorly managed. I should have known when there was no cars in the parking lot. Right at the front desk the carpet is torn and very dirty. The hall ways are dirty. The breakfast that comes with your stay has a fee of at least $9.50. I was afraid my car would be broken into in the parking lot. This was very disappointing for a national chain.

EXTRA Cleaning Habits
Overall, the stay was pleasant; but I believe during our current health situation (covid) EXTRA cleaning efforts should be displayed. The hallway floors were terrible (need of daily vacuum) and pick up the trash from in front of room doors as soon as possible!!! The elevator floor looked as if it had not been cleaned in days :(
