The hotel was clean, and the staff helped make my stay In Salina memorable. The hotel is located in a convenient location with easy access to the freeway. Would recommend!

Facilities were clean. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good, except for the coffee, which did not taste fresh. This hotel is a bit dated, and needs refurbishing. Front desk area should be cleaned up.

Salina, KS La Quinta was OK. Unfortunately for them, our stay the night before in South Dakota was stellar, making anything the following night a tough act to follow. A few minor things didn't work right: wi-fi was sketchy at best (only worked in the bathroom), the toilet made noises every five minutes, and the window unit ac/heater was one of those that made you either cold or toast...but I made it work ok. Overall...we had a great rest and that's what mattered. Thanks!

The girl at the front desk on the morning of 4/10 was awful. Our complaint was no water coming out of the bathroom sink. She had no solution and would only offer $20 off the room price. She looked at me and said, "thats all you can get back". I told her that this was the worst La Quinta we had ever stayed at. She said, "I dont care." It was really shocking to keep hearing her responses. I said nevermind to the 20 bucks and told her I'd just call corporate. And then she said, "Go ahead, we just pay for the name and it wont matter." I know empliyees are hard to find but wow, this one is really awful. Beyond all of this, the property is very run down. The outside appearance of garbage all around the building and bird poop everywhere is an indication of the interior. Dated. Our accessible room had a huge crack in the shower and when we turned the water on in the shower (to brush our teeth), brown water came out. Yuck. Breakfast area was dirty. Its just a no. This is not the level of service you enjoy in most other La Quintas.

Well you get what you pay for. They gave someone a key to my room at 11pm, I was asleep when they walked in. Not apologetic at all, blamed it on “the system”. Breakfast was mediocre, waffles are the best part per usual. Luckily I’m a grown man, and I woke up when they entered my room. I can only imagine how that situation could’ve played out had I been a woman traveling alone. Definitely will cough up the extra $30 and stay at a nicer place next time.

I booked a "suite" because I needed to have a table to work and eat at. When I went up to the room, I was surprised that there was no table in the living room portion of the suite. There was a ratty couch, a tear in the rug covered by the kind of doormat on might find by the front door of a convenience store AND a large jacuzzi tub in the living room.

Front desk lady that works nights is an ass. She needs a class in friendliness. This place isnt worth $80 a night. And they do not honor wyndhams no pet fee if you are a member. Bed was hard and the ac would never turn off even if you unplugged it.
