Beautiful location (on the island). Our room was in building 3 and offered oceanf views and the river where ocean liners and freighters come in to port. Not much in the way of restaurants but the hotel had one with a performer when we were there.

Beautiful beach but dowdy.
Beach is beautiful, pools nice, but although hotel meets basic Marriott standards, and the grounds are nice, its general feel is aged and bewildered. Room cleaning staff arriving each morning are noisy vocal and rude, although we never met whomever cleaned our room. In fact for the first two days of our stay no cleaning was done at all; when eventually done after I asked, it was late in the afternoon each day. I guess you are paying for the beach. There is no real restaurant, but a bar with bar food. A small store-like room acts like a mini-deli, selling some food and alchohol. When we were there the weather was cold and rainy, so it might feel bettter on a nice day. I stay at Marriotts all the time, and I expected better. Probably was great 50 years ago, but has been overtaken by Florida's urbanization.

Nice Hotel on Beach
I highly recommend this hotel for the Palm Beach area. It is right on the ocean, has a beautiful pool area, and the rooms are very spacious. The staff is also excellent; they are genuinely friendly and helpful. This hotel is also an excellent price given its location and the quality of the property and amenities. The only downside is the food; there aren't many options and it isn't of the highest quality, so eat elsewhere.

Ocean Pointe Vacation
Joined friends on their timeshare vacation; booked a 1 bedroom & were fortunate to secure adjoining rooms. However - at $325+ nightly, we expected daily maid service - not unlike any other hotel guests. In the least, some basic elements. The 2 pools are clean / area well stocked with loungers; The small store has fresh Starbucks coffee; There is a pool bar that serves sandwiches / burgers etc. The beach is great with very clean water. Plenty of activities for small children. Many local area restaurants to suit all budgets Overall a very nice place - unfortunately, the weather was not co-operative.
