Save Your Money - Not A Real 4 Star Hotel
The hotel lobby is nice although you need to go down stairs to get to the front desk. The room was small but not too tiny to be in as a couple. The beds was called King size in the room description and the front desk. However, in actuality it was two single mattresses pushed together which would split apart if you got close to your partner. The mattress was one step up from sleeping on a wooden table in terms of comfort and softness. The pillows were too thin to sleep on your side with one but too thick to sleep with two and too thick to sleep on your back without straining your neck. The bathroom was a decent size with an average stand up shower. There were signs of black mould on the wall and when we arrived it smelt like burnt hair for some reason. The walls are paper thin meaning you can clearly hear your neighbors. Unfortunately we had a baby in the room beside us that was crying throughout the night. When we requested a room change with the front desk they told us that it was not possible until the following day. That did not help as we were checking out the following day. The fire alarm went off briefly in the night. Long enough to wake us up and get us out of bed. Then it just shut off. No reason was given as to why or what happened. The breakfast buffet was not anything special by any means. The eggs were a sawgy watery scrambled mess. The bacon was so undercooked I wouldn't recommend it and instead of breakfast sausages they had hotdogs.

Exceptional 10.0
super good service
The front desk was very nice. The hotel was very near some tourist attractions and the rooftop restaurants view and food were very good. Althougj our room was on ghe corner and it was pretty loud at night but the service covers it up

Very Good 8.0
classy building and rooms, great location,
very attractive and classy building, perfectly situated, close to Metro and Bus services, walkable distance to most famous Rome treasures; four subway stations to the Vatican, in direct line; very quiet district, yet plenty of restaurants around; friendly staff; junior suite is large, with great view; breakfast area has magnificent view on top floor, but breakfast a little under par (no smoked salmon, little fresh fruits), with great service however; walls are not sound proof: pray for quiet neighbors…; wi-fi reliable; no gym; receptionist acts as concierge, knowledge and efficiency vary…; would return with great pleasure; would suggest installing night lights: the curtains are so thick and efficient that one sees nothing at night...

You can find better value for the money elsewhere
VERY small rooms, misleading photographs, terrible breakfast and there's no "courtyard" view to be heard of. It's clean and in a good area though.

Major disappointment
The hot tub was pay-for, the beds were terribly uncomfortable, the service was slow (once we called to ask for a pillow and they said “hopefully later”), the bathtubs in our room and our two friends’ rooms all leaked, the shower glass didn’t prevent the spray from getting all over the bathroom, the heater came on even when we were overheating and the heated towel bar only heated during certain hours. The very best part of the hotel was it’s location which was awesome. I’m really Co fused by this hotel’s high ratings - we would never stay there again.
