It's an Egg Thing
Overall a very good experience. My only disappointment was I looked forward to having breakfast before leaving and there were no eggs. Other customers were also disappointed that the eggs were missing. I was very grateful that the mix up with my reservation was fixed with no problem

I booked a hotel on Thu. for check in on Sat. afternoon, we live 3 hours away from there and I'm not used to drive anywhere more than an hour away, driving making me sleepy and that's why I decided to stay the night. We started our trip at 7 am but on the way there we had a car accident on the way. I called Expedia to helped me with cancellation but our cancellation for full refund window had passed the night before. Expedia Agent tried to contact the hotel manager several times but can't get a hold of him/her. Then the agent decided to write an email on my behalf to this manager to explain our situation. I contact Expedia agent again to follow up the next day but there was no reply from him/her. Once again, the agent called but still can't reach him/her. A couple of days later he/she responded to Expedia escalated team, he/she is not approved my refund request. I understand is not his/her fault, but I can't control it and I made the effort to contact the hotel ASAP, I was hoping that he/she will be willing to consider and be flexible to my request. The fact that the manager cannot be reach by phone or email is absurd to me, even grocery store has working manager the entire time of operating hours. I'm more upset of how he/she unresponsive and inconsiderate of the circumstance.
