Very Good
Nice place, but noisy!
The staff was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. The location was right off a busy highway and the accommodations are far from soundproof. Lots of road noise during the day. Fortunately, the volume tapers off at night, so sleeping wasn’t an issue. If you are staying in the Lodge, and staying more than one night, recommend taking an upstairs room as if you’re in the lower level, you hear the footsteps of the people above you all day. Good location in terms of proximity to restaurants, stores and the Newport Mansions.

Exceptional
Spend a few days visiting Boston for the first time. The hotel was conveniently located and well maintained. The snacks in the morning, afternoon and evening were a nice personal touch. Staff was very nice. I would definitely go back

Convenient Location in Central Boston
Clean comfortable, albeit small, quarters, still very convenient for a business traveler. Nice touch for the filtered water on each floor, but unnecessary plastic bottles - a major minus for me

Everything seemed to be fine. The only issue I had was with the TV remote in the room. It was prone to mysteriously flip channels and modes. It happened only at night. The people next door were having the same issue. Remotes should not be able to affect the other room. It’s assumed to be line of sight only within one’s room. They should keep it simple. Use a simpler remote. Staff did come by to try and sort things out. Otherwise, uneventful stay.
