Great location, safe area and 20 min walk to just about everything. Just off the red line to the airports/Wrigley. Room did smell a little funky .. possibly old smokers? And the bathrooms could use a fresh layer of paint, but it is an old building. Well worth the price. Wifi is a little shaky at times.

Good value for Chicago
They put sheets over the top and bottom of the blanket. I have never seen this at a hotel. This way you never have to touch the blanket used by everybody. This was amazing!!

A No Frills Comfortable Stay
I would have no issue recommending this hotel to someone who is looking for something affordable in a city of expensive hotels. It needs some modernization but that doesn't make it less attractive to stay in. Everyone I encountered that worked there, especially the concierge/baggage guys, were great. Good location with lots of dining options within walking distance. Gym is very minimal. Rooftop patio is sweet.

Great location and value
Fantastic location right in the heart of the Magnificent Mile. Not the fanciest hotel in the area and you do need to be patient when waiting for one of the very small elevators but for the price, this is a great place to stay.

Small but functional
Room was very small and in need of a spruce up. Fine for 1 person who will only sleep in the room. Old style hotel so the rooms were small "back in the day". Recommend but only for quick stays with no expectation to languish in the room.
