A night in Seattle

The check in was easy. The room very clean. You can park across the street at Washington Athletic Club for $40 per day, cheaper than hotel parking. Can walk to numerous restaurants.

Worse experience ever!

We had stayed at the Grand Sheraton of Seattle last year 2024 for Sakura con and we were looking forward to a great stay, but that's not what happened for us. Check in was a hassle with the app not working and my wife not allowed to check-in while I set up as a vendor at the convention. Our room was right by the elevators and guests partying until 2am in the hall. But the worst part was the 2 hour wait for room service that never showed up, even after we called the front desk twice. They said they never received it, then the kitchens said oops we saw it and forgot. The beds were terrible and the shower handle was broken. This is NOT what I expected from a top hotel in Seattle, and not what we experienced last year. Only the porter for our luggage was nice, otherwise the staff was unapologetic and rude. We will be staying somewhere else next year!

Clean hotel, but air is so dry my nose got all stuffy in reaction. The beds are hard as rocks. Clean, smells clean, updated, tons of amenity otherwise. Just need better signage for pools, and PLEASE get better mattresses

Staff needs better attention to detail

For an upscale hotel this was rather disappointing. We reserved the room for 4 people, yet they only put 3 towels & 2 paper coffee cups & 2 plastic water cups. A hotel of this level should have real cups not just for class but sustainability as well. A pillow menu was advertised but not available. We opted for the discover Seattle option that was supposed to include free wifi but it did not. Our bathroom had the shampoo & conditioner bottles attached to the shower wall but the conditioner was completely out & you could tell where the body wash bottle was supposed to be but it was missing. The hand soap & toilet paper upon checking in was also almost completely out. The hair dryer plug in was also busted so that was not usable.

Clean, comfortable and convenient

We enjoyed our 2 night stay. The location is convenient for shopping, Pike Place and the Monorail to the Space Needle etc. We went to a Kraken game and it was so easy to grab the Monorail there and back. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. This is our go to hotel for downtown Seattle.
