Good hotel but no AC in end April

Centralized located near Saint Marco's square. Hotel has pier dock for water taxi if you want to arrive in style, otherwise have to cross a bridge which would be painstakingly tiring if have too many luggages. Beautiful room facing canal, but no AC( we were there end April but still quite hot during the day). Very cool at night if you leave the window opened but then welcoming mosquitoes. Good services.

Clean but not again.

Everyone who works here is very nice. I wasn’t wild about our room though. It smelled awful. It was in a separate tower from the main hotel and I’m not sure what’s happening with it but I suggest they clean up the piles of trash laying around the outside or put up barriers so guests don’t see it. The room smell was awful. We opened the instant coffee grounds to try and absorb the smell but it only semi helped for one day. I could have opened the shutters but there was a nasty tarp and trash right outside my window. It really needs to be addressed. I personally wouldn’t stay there again. The room itself was clean, the shower stall was so small though that a man over 250lbs would have a hard time fitting. Or woman I suppose. I’m small and I felt cramped. The staff is very helpful though! They helped get our private water taxi to the airport for a very early morning departure. My unhappiness is strictly with what I’ve stated here.

Magnificent Hotel!

Marvelous! Lovely people in every service position. Great place to be! Super location to everything! Our window looked out on the canal and heard signing from them sometimes. Breakfast and dinner were lovely. Gorgeous rooms.

Great location. Even though we told them it was our 25th Wedding Anniversary there was a hard sell on our arrival to try and make us upgrade to a better more expensive room when they clearly had lots of empty rooms, it was disappointing and unnecessary. It spoilt it for us.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location in January was quiet, safe, and we enjoyed being delivered by water taxi right to the hotels dock on the canal. Fun experience! The hotel staff arranged our transport for us to and from the airport and the cruise dock. Expensive but as my husband is disabled, worth it for the ease. The breakfast was nice and we had dinner in their small restaurant a few nights. It was nice we didn’t need to go out of the hotel after very long days. We would stay there again.

Great location, centrally located to walk to many highlights of Venice. The hotel was absolutely beautiful, the staff was very friendly and helpful. When back in Venice, this will be my go to hotel. A Venetian Step Back in time

This is a wonderful Venetian experience and we recommend it as an excellent place to visit as a family. Friendly hotel staff who are extremely helpful.
