Quite and clean

I had to take my daughter to seattle childrens hospital for an appointment so i made this a mini vaction for my kids. We were only there at night to sleep. They would come in while we were gone to make the beds restock stufff and give us clean towels. The kids loved the fact that they got to have breakfast in the morning there and loved the food.

Poor breakfast service

Basic Hotel. Paid a higher fee to include breakfast and it was poor. The scrambled eggs looked like they had been sitting a long time therefore I did not take any but husband tried them and said they were gross. Potatoes were cold. Sausage links was empty and I asked if they had more coming and she said no - this was 45 minutes before they were to close breakfast service. She said they had turned off their oven 15 minutes prior and it takes another 15 minutes to get it hot enough to cook more. She said that to remember it is complimentary. I told her I had paid for it, she sais 2-3 more times that I hadn't paid for it but that is was complimentary. Anyways, poor customer service and to me good service is to be sure there is all food options at all times for your guests until breakfast service is closed.

Recent stay- Dogs

Our room was next door to room with large dog that kept barking. We did not have a dog and found our our floor was designated for those with dogs. Should have been placed on a different floor. Also those with dogs, large and small, had their dogs with them in the area where food was served. Seems like a violation to code and if not, consideration should be made to not allow all animals in that area. The large dog in there when we were serving could place his nose on the counters. Dont mind the dogs in eating area but to have in area with food served is a huge negative on our stay. We have stayed at LaQuinta multiple times through the years but this visit with so much exposure and allowance for those with dogs may have us look for other options.

My wife and always choose this La Quinta Inn, in Marysville. We have probably at least 18 nights over the past 18months. The hotel front desk are always pleasant and helpful. The cleaning service are constantly cleaning throughout the day, which we appreciate. The Hotel is clean! This visit we stayed 5 days
